About Me
As a child when I was asked, "What do you want to be when you grow up?", I did not immediately think "Psychologist". But if I had been asked, "What difference would you like to make in the world?", well that I knew. Imagine if you could make someone's day even just a little better by helping make their challenges feel a little bit easier. Wouldn't it be wonderful to leave someone feeling more hopeful than before they had met you? From those dreams, my interest in Psychology particularly for children and adolescents, was realised.
Living and studying in Sydney, I completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) and went on to complete my Masters of Psychology in Educational and Developmental Psychology. I enjoyed teaching undergraduate Psychology students as a casual lecturer and university tutor alongside working at the Children's Hospital in the Child Development Unit (CDU) and in the Children's Hospital Educational Research Institute (CHERI). From there I went on to work for the Catholic Education system. The next two decades saw me in various roles working with students, educators, families, and school communities, providing Psychological assessment and K-12 therapeutic services, parenting support, and consultation.

In that time, I have had three children of my own and have decided to offer services to support families also navigating their young person's needs with the hope of making life in and out of school easier.

It is immensely empowering finding out about yourself, discovering what strategies are best suited to you, and joy in finding hope and success again. I am genuinely interested in hearing about the experience of every young person I am lucky to work with and delight in seeing them connect with key people in their lives, learn about their unique set of strengths, and realise their possibilities.

Looking forward to meeting you.
